Cookie notice

We use cookies and similar technologies, such as Local Shared Objects (hereinafter collectively “cookies”), to recognise user preferences and to design our websites optimally. This makes navigation easier and continuously improves the user-friendliness of our websites. Cookies cannot run programs or transfer viruses to your computer. They are small text files that are stored on the hard drive of your device. They can be used to determine whether there has already been communication between your device and our website. Personal data may be stored in a cookie if you have consented or if this is strictly technically necessary, e.g. in the case of a login.

You can configure your browser settings according to your wishes and be informed about the setting of cookies, or refuse the acceptance of cookies in general or only in certain cases. In this case, you may no longer be able to use all functions of this website. You can delete cookies that have already been set on your device at any time; the information provided by the browser or the manufacturer of your device is decisive for this.

We use the following cookies on our websites:

Use of Google Analytics

On our website we use “Google Analytics”, a service of Google LLC (“Google”), 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA, to analyse usage data.

Google Analytics uses “cookies” for this purpose. These are small text files that are stored on your computer. The information stored in the cookie about your use of this website is transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, we have activated the “anonymizeIP” setting. This is an IP anonymisation which masks the last octet or the last blocks of the IP address you use. This means that the last digits of your IP address are replaced by a “0” before being transferred to the USA. This rules out any direct personal reference, and the data collected with Google Analytics cannot be combined with other data.

We use the usage data collected with Google Analytics to evaluate and statistically analyse how visitors use our website. The data collected in this way is deleted after 14 months.

Data is collected and processed on the legal basis of Art. 6 para .1 lit. f) of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (EU GDPR) (“legitimate interest”). Our legitimate interest lies in optimising our website, including evaluation and analysis.

You can object to the use of Google Analytics, and thus to data collection by it, at any time. There are two ways to do this:

Using the Google browser add-on (http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout) to deactivate Google Analytics. The browser add-on prevents Google Analytics from transmitting information about the website visit. As an alternative to the browser add-on or within browsers on mobile devices, please click the following link: Opt-Out Google Analytics

Clicking the link will prevent Google Analytics from collecting data on this website in the future (the opt-out only works in the browser in which the link was clicked and only for this domain). An opt-out cookie is stored on your device. If you delete the cookies in the browser you use, you must click the link again.
